GREETINGS beloved nation in the name of Jesus Christ. “For not from the east nor from the west nor from the south come promotion and lifting up. But God is the Judge! He puts down one and lifts up another.” Psalm 75:6-7 (AMPC)

When we read in scriptures we discover that God is a progressive God, He desires to see us progressing from one level to another, from one dimension to another, whether it’s spiritually, physically, financially and so on. God delights in taking His children from one level to a higher level in every aspect of their lives. He detests unproductivity and retrogression; that’s why

He always wants us to flourish, make progress and move forward in life. God delights in lifting men and promoting men. The Bible tells us in Psalms 75:6-7 that promotion and lifting do not come from the north, south, east or west, but it comes from God. Divine lifting is God’s promotion, when God promotes you no man can demote you. Divine lifting speaks of a positive change in the life of a man. With divine lifting; an ordinary man is made great and will sit with honourable men.

Divine lifting brings people from the dust to the throne. When God decides to visit you all atmosphere will change for you. The Bible tells us of a number of people that God lifted from the dust to positions of great influence. In the book of Ester 2:17-18, we read about Esther who was lifted from an orphan to being a queen, from a village girl to a palace where she sat with honourable people as queen. So meaning it doesn’t matter your background or your upbringing, God can still lift you from the dust and promote you.

Esther found divine favour, because everyone who looked at her favoured her, including the king. Divine lifting is when God raises you above all your enemies and mockers, it is when God promotes you to a higher level in your career life. It is when God makes you the head and not the tail in life. This was the case with Joseph, in the book of Genesis 37, where he was lifted from being a slave to being a Prime Minister, from a prison to a palace. In Genesis we read about the life of Joseph.

He went through a lot of diversities, from been sold by his brothers, to a slave, to be accused of attempted rape, thrown into prison and forgotten. In prison Joseph met some of the Kings attendant where he interpreted their dreams and once they were free; they forgot all about Joseph.

At the appropriate time, the King had a dream that no one could interpret except Joseph; he was remembered at last. God did it so much that Joseph was made a Prime Minister in a foreign land, even the King had to depend on him.

Bible

Every child of God is a candidate for divine lifting but many believers are still struggling in life because the devil is still contending with their blessings.

There are ways in which we can attract the divine lifting of God. In the book of Micah 5:2 it says, “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting.”

The Bible tells us about Bethlehem which was the least among the tribes of Judah, yet out of it was to come a ruler, Jesus Christ. Bethlehem was despised as a city and looked down upon. Bethlehem means house of bread and bread speaks of the word of God.

What made Bethlehem attract lifting was that it was carrying the word. You may be despised and looked down upon, God wants to lift you. Because you are despised, that makes you a candidate for divine lifting. But to attract lifting, you will have to carry the word, be a person of the word.

1 Peter 5:6 says, “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.” Another way in which we can attract the lifting of God is when we humble ourselves under his mighty hand. So there are two issues here, (i) being humble and (ii) being under the mighty hand of God.

And the Bible tells us that in due season he will lift us. So we must align and position ourselves under the mighty hand of God. This means submitting to the will of God.

There is a due time in the calendar of God, but that will take us being positioned. As believers we have to resist the devil and until you resist the devil in prayers, he will continue to contend with the blessings of God upon your life. God has made provisions for your divine lifting, but you must fight the fight of faith, you must pray your way into your inheritance.

When we pray, we let God know that we are absolutely dependent on Him. We hand over our battles to Him (God) so that He can bring us victory. I would like to invite you to receive Jesus as your personal Lord and saviour, by believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth that he is your Lord and saviour, and you shall be saved. May God bless you all.
