THE Family of God Church (FOG) under the leadership of Apostle Andrew Wutawunashe has set the stage for a powerful and joyous Easter conference that is going to transform lives through the preaching of the gospel for the salvation of humanity.
The church announced with great joy that it was hosting an all-family Easter conference running under the theme, “The Southern Africa Preaching of the Cross.”
The conference will be held at the Harare International Conference Centre from 6 to 9 April. It is an international conference being hosted by the African Revival hosting team.
The conference is targeting over 6 000 people from different denominations across Southern Africa.
The Family of God Church was formed in 1980 by Apostle Wutawunashe after heeding the call of God.
The church has grown over the years with branches in all provinces across Zimbabwe. In an interview with Sunday News, Apostle Wutawunashe said he went to Bible School in 1979 to get further knowledge about Jesus Christ and the Bible as well as to gain professional leadership qualities.

He said the church was prepared for the conference which was aimed at drawing the attention of believers and non-believers as they would be preaching about the cross of Jesus Christ.
Apostle Wutawunashe said Easter was a period that people who believe in Christ must take seriously as it was the time to remember that Jesus died on the cross in order for humanity to be saved and live under his grace.

“As we preach the gospel of the cross, we expect lives to be touched and souls to come to Christ. Soul winning is also our aim as the word will reach people that God wants to bring in his presence through repentance.
We are looking forward to seeing different guests and denominations to attend the conference with a capacity of over 6 000 people.”
Apostle Wutawunashe said the conference will be different from other conferences held in past years.
He said it will bring great joy to him to see people who were there at the previous Easter conferences coming again this year to witness the goodness of Christ, adding that the Southern Africa Preaching of the Cross 2023 Conference will transform lives through salvation.
Apostle Wutawunashe declared that all “crippled people will be healed and the blind will see” at the end of the conference and witness the greatness of God.
“We are looking forward to a convection where we can see results of the previous year’s conference and other conferences as we do the conferences every year.
This conference is expected to be of miraculous deeds and many people being brought to Christ, changed and delivered through salvation,” he said.– @NomqheleC
