Practice good manners like washing hands after using the toilet, not spitting anywhere and throwing garbage in the bin.
Don’t write on toilet walls using your stuff. This is not good. Flush the toilet after use.
When using a Blair toilet , make sure you correctly position yourself so that you won’t mess up the toilet.
Always carry a tissue paper, or a paper to the toilet not tree leaves or cardboard box cuttings. Some don’t use anything even after doing number two. This is not good, you will be smelly the whole day.
Wash your uniform, and stockings after school. Don’t wear shoes without stockings. ln the morning wash your pants,and brash your teeth. Polish your shoes.
For boys , short hair and short nails are signs of good manners. Your uniform should always be tucked in . Bath everyday, remove unnecessary hairs, smell good.
Learn to say, ‘Excuse me’ ,if you want to borrow anything from other students.
If you want to go to the toilet, again, ask the teacher, don’t just march out. Learn again to say I’m sorry, if you do anything wrong. Apologize to your peers, teachers, and parents.
Don’t call names to other students at school or give teachers nicknames. Learners at school mostly have nicknames for each other, but sometimes it gets hurtful.
Therefore, it is important to focus on the purpose of why you are going to school .
Don’t comment on anyone’s body structure , it’s not your business. Appreciate your peers . No one is a biological mistake, we are all valuable . These habits are distractors : sex, relationships, smoking , taking drugs and drinking alcohol etc . Avoid all these while at school. Be a good student.
Acknowledge others’ success with grace and humility. This wards off negative emotions like jealousy, hatred, and revenge . Celebrate whenever others do well. Avoid unnecessary arguments. Arguing unnecessarily with other students isn’t good. You see learners arguing about wrestling, or buses etc.lts better to argue on school work. Maintain calm, self-regulation, and patience. Don’t fight at school. This is not good.
Don’t borrow food from other students’ lunch boxes. Be content with what you have in your lunch box.
You avoid a lot by so doing. Return anything that you borrow. It’s a sign of good manners. Don’t steal , be a good student.
Students must learn the importance of paying attention in class.
Don’t write letters when the teacher is teaching. Be vigilant and focus on the lesson. Don’t bunk lessons.
Don’t gossip about other students, always respect your peers.
As students always portray good habits. Students must remember it is impolite and unkind to bully and make fun of any learner.
Students must always choose to be truthful and always do what is right. Don’t be habitual lier. Anything that comes from your mouth is lie. This is not good.
Don’t lie to your parents or teachers. Other students always say vulgar words to others. Control your tongue.
greet your teachers.
At home greet your parents . In the morning , say ,”good morning Dad , good morning Mother”.
When visitors come to your place greet them. That’s good manners.
Be a good communicator. Always communicate with your parents and teachers.
Share stories or jokes with your parents. When something is wrong , talk to them . Don’t hide information.
Again communicate with God everyday , in the morning before you go to school , in the evening before you sleep. Thank God for your parents, siblings, grace and gift of life. This is good manners.
When it’s time for eating leave your phone and focus on the food. You should not always be on your phone.
Again your phone shouldn’t have a password . lf there’s a passwords it means you are hiding something.
Your phone should be smart .. no nudes or pornographic material. That’s good manners.
A good student is always punctual at school. Such a student values time.
Train yourself to be punctual now. You won’t have problems in life. This is good manners.
Above all , go to church together with your parents. Don’t remain home watching cartoons.
A child who fears God , is guaranteed of success
