IYASA founder and director Nkululeko Innocent Dube went down memory lane on social media in his appreciation of the inaugural Bulawayo Arts Awards (BAA)held in the city on Friday night. He posted captivating pictures of two of the stars who emerged from Iyasa, Sandra Ndebele and Noma Nkwali Gagisa, now solo artistes and success stories in their own right.
“When they were girls Noma Nkwali Gagisa and Sandra Ndebele founded Iyasa together with those from their generation.
Today BAA celebrates them as they come of age and have become Bulawayo and Zimbabwe’s celebrated songbirds. We wish them well at the awards on Friday and we are proud to have been a part of their legacies.”
