REIGNING Mr Zimbabwe, Shadel Noble has been appointed as the brand ambassador of the Zimbabwe Model Awards.
Noble was voted the sexiest man in Zimbabwe in a stiff competition that took centre stage in December last year. Well, still fresh from celebrating his victory, The Zimbabwe Model Awards has stored upon him to be the face of the company.
The endorsement deal, valid for a year, will see the reigning Mr Zimbabwe representing the brand on a broader scale.
Speaking in an interview, Zimbabwe Model Awards organiser Mercy Mushaninga said Shadel’s appointment is going to bring the brand to the next level given the great work that he has done in the modelling industry.
“We believe as the ZMA team that his modelling skills and popularity he can market the brand well and take it to another level and we are happy to be welcoming on board,” Mushaninga said.
Asked why they chose to work with Shadel of all other models in the country, Mushaninga said it has been brought to light that Shadel is the people’s favourite apart from his reign as Mr Zimbabwe.
“We chose Shadel because he was voted the People’s Choice at the ZMA that we recently held. The amazing fact is the highest points that he got hence the decision to appoint him our brand ambassador for a one year term,” she said.
Mushaninga said they are soon to discuss with him the role that his to partake during his term as ZMA ambassador.
“We are yet to sit down with Shadel and discuss his role in this year’s edition. This year he will be given a chance to sit with the organising team and discuss on the 2018 ZMA,” she said.
Noble described the appointment as a great achievement and a dream come true for his career.
“I am really honoured to be associated with this great brand and it’s such an awesome feeling when things you dream and pray about actually become reality. I feel special because I know it’s not just another title but one that holds so many blessings and great things to possibly be for me and my career,” Noble said.
He added; “Career-wise I believe this will be a key to opening many more doors I could only imagine before, more opportunities to working in different and bigger platforms across the country. I also believe that with the magnitude of the title, it will increase the recognition of my work and talents, not just locally but possibly internationally and hopefully globally,” he said.
Noble said he is up for the challenge as the reigning Mr Zimbabwe as well as the ZMA brand ambassador as he is confident that he will bring the change that they are looking forward to.
